APS Kalimpong Hosts 3rd Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club

Kalimpong, July 28, 2026 — Army Public School Kalimpong successfully organized the 3rd Installation Ceremony of its Interact Club today at the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium. Held between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM, the solemn yet celebratory event marked the official transition of leadership and welcomed new student leaders for the Interact Year 2026–27.
The ceremony was graced by prominent figures from the Rotary network and the school administration:

The occasion also witnessed active inter-school camaraderie, welcoming student delegations—consisting of five Interactors accompanied by a faculty advisor from neighboring institutions:

The core of the afternoon’s proceedings was the formal badge pinning and leadership handover. Interactor Saksham Chettri was officially installed as the newly elected President, alongside Interactor Ashwini Bhandari as the Secretary for the 2026–27 Interact Year.
The incoming Board of Directors was formally badged and took their pledges to uphold the Interact core values of service, fellowship, and leadership. A total of 16 new Interactors were inducted into the club, stepping forward to commit themselves to community service and youth initiative initiatives over the coming year.
The two-hour program concluded on a high note, filled with inspirational addresses from the dignitaries, cheerful performances, and enthusiastic exchanges among the visiting schools. All attendees left the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium with fond memories, high spirits and a shared dedication to service above self.
