The World Interact Week was observed by the Interact Clubs of Army Public School, Rockvale Academy, St Augustine School, and Dr. Graham’s Homes Kalimpong of Rotary Club of Kalimpong.
During the week, posters on “Unite for Good,” “Eradication of Polio,” and “Save the Environment” were prepared and displayed. Clean-up drives were conducted in the school campuses.
The Interactors organized talks and presentations on Hygiene and Sanitation, water conservation and handwashing steps. Posters were displayed in the school washing areas and washrooms to serve as constant reminder of good hygiene practices.
A Tobacco Youth Campaign, and poster-making competition depicting the harmful effects of tobacco were also organized.
A “Detectives for Hygiene” activity was organized where students identified hygiene-related issues within the campus and proposed practical solutions.
Interactors of RVA participated in the Inter-District World Interact Week Meeting, and the Rotary Youth Leaders World Interact Week Webinar.
