Vocational Excellence Award is an important event in our clubs calendar, wherein we recognise Vocational excellence of the highest order and honour outstanding contribution by individuals or small teams of individuals for significant advancement in their vocational field and for setting an example to others, particularly youth, of the need to strive for vocational excellence for the benefit of their discipline.
The whole purpose of this event is to spread goodwill and recognise individuals who exemplify rotary ideals of service in the workplace.
Rotary Club of Kalimpong over the years has been giving this award in two categories …Individual and NGO or Corporate.
Mr. Srawan Kumar Agarwal who the recipient of VEA in the individual category and Teesta Rangeet Rescue Team which comprises of President M/s Shanti in the NGO Category.
