The Interact Club of Dr Graham’s Homes (DGH) was sponsored by the Rotary Club (RC) of Kalimpong in 1999. It is our oldest active Interact club. It celebrated its silver jubilee by hosting its 25th Installation on 21/5/25. The school is also celebrating its 125 years of existence this year. The chief guest was Mrs Jeena Raghavan, the headmistress of DGH. Present in the audience were Interactors from Army Public School, Rockvale Academy and St Augustine’s School accompanied by their Faculty Counsellors Ma’am Jhanvi Dahal, Sir Lekhraj Bhandari and Sir Neeraj Pradhan. Amongst the dignitaries were Senior Master Sir Dipankar Rai, Rtn Pauline Singh, member of the Board of Management, Retd Headmaster of DGH Rtn Pravin Pradhan who is also the President Elect Nominee of RC Kalimpong, President Elect Rtn Col AK Gogoi, members of RC Kalimpong, Anns and Rotarylets. Interactor Tenzing Chuki was sworn in as President by Rtn Sheila Rai Fudong, President of RC Kalimpong. Vice President Intr Vanessa Mukhia, Secretary Intr Penzom Tamang, the Board of Directors and new inductees were administered the oath by CYLC Rtn CA Sumit Jindal. The DGH Faculty Counsellors Ma’am Bandana Pradhan, Ma’am Sonia Dalmia and Sir Benoy Thakur did an excellent job of mentoring their Interactors and organising the programme. RC Kalimpong is extremely proud of our partner in service for the stellar work they have been doing over the years to create lasting change. In the process each Interactor is taking on a leadership role which is highly commendable. A citation was presented to reiterate the same. Interactors who have come out with flying colours in the recent Board exams were also felicitated.
