Report on the 22nd Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of Dr. Graham’s Homes –
The 22nd installation of the Interact Club of Dr Graham’s Homes was held on the 19th Sept at 2pm in their Jarvie Hall.
It was well attended by Rotarians, the First Lady of the club Anne Suruchi Jindal, as well as the Interactors of SAS and Vrindavan school along with their faculty councillors Sir Anurag and Ma’am Puja Gupta.
The chief guest was Rtn Pravin Pradhan, the Headmaster of DGH.
The guest of honour was Rtn CA Sumit Jindal, the President of the Rotary Club of Kalimpong.
Also on the dais were the VP / New Gen Director Rtn Sheila Rai Fudong and the Secretary Rtn Col AK Gogoi along with the Presd Intr Nidhi Subba and the Sec Intr. Tenzing Chuki of the Interact Club of DGH.
All the guests were welcomed with khadas.
Rotary khadas were offered to them too. A total of 71 Interactors, including the Board Members, were inducted in a ceremonious manner.
The oath taking was conducted by the New Gen Director while the lapel pins were handed out by the President of RC Kalimpong, the First Lady as well as other Rotarians.
The guest of honour Presd Rtn CA Sumit Jindal gave a wonderful speech inspiring and motivating the Interactors.
The chief guest Rtn Pravin Pradhan mentioned his journey in Rotary. He also talked about the Interact Club of DGH being one of the oldest among the Interact Clubs in Kalimpong. The programme concluded with tea and fellowship.
Intr Niwang Bal, his friends and Intr Tenzing Chuki also performed some lovely numbers for the audience.
It was indeed a well organised and planned programme .
